On the package and the description it just says 1oz and not how many eyes you get. The only thing I had a problem with was the amount you get. Perfect for cupcakes and any other treats of that size. The black does melt off if frosting gets warm and is cooled again (condensation), but a great value overall!ĥ Perfect for cupcakes and any other treats of that size Perfect eyeballs for poop emoji cupcakes. Off to use up second package and hope what results isn't as terrifying for small children. Anyway, you'll get an amateur hour product with these, which, if you put a lot of time and effort into your baking is NOT what you want.
They were perfect-wish I'd used these on those. I made my own eyeballs for my mummy cookies at Halloween. Inside an hour of applying these eyes to a very sturdy, not at all runny ganache frosting, my Rudolphs looked like ZOMBIES. I baked Rudolph cupcakes for my child's class. These ones, though? Glad I bought two packages. OK, I bought some of these last year and had NO issue with them with exactly the same baking project. If you're looking for ice cream shop eyes, look elsewhere. That day was instantly improved.These eyes, sadly, don't hold a candle. I once told a server at one of those places that I was having a bad day and I wanted candy eyes ony my ice cream and she COVERED it in them. I want those candy eyes you can get at your corner ice cream store. cracks him up every time and its the simplest way to get him to eat fruit.
I love peeling a banana and sticking two little eyes inside then hand it to my 2 year old. However, I will say if you are attempting to use these eyeballs for Halloween cookies or cupcakes or something to that effect then they are perfect for that. I ended up having to fill in the the white part of the eye with black gel icing to complete the look and if I knew I would have had to end up doing that, I never would've ordered these particular eyeballs.
I was disappointed that the eyeballs looked like the eyes were popping out of the sockets and did not give the cookie that cute, adorable look I was going for. I was looking forward to using these eyeballs for a Daniel Tiger cookie I was making. Party's today so I'm very irritated and will be heading to Walmart to purchase the rest - and probably purchase them every time after this experience!
I had read a review that there were 100! My package only had 24 and I needed 48.
